Friend Not Returning Borrowed Money

I gave around 1.9 lakhs to a friend via online transaction. He assured me on multiple emails that he will return money. But now keeps delaying. What action can I take to recover the money?

If he’s not listening to you then you can always serve him a legal notice and in that notice you can write either refund my money back along with compensation or face legal action. And if want to go legal then you can sue him under 138 NI act or a recovery suit can also be filed. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

You can immediately send a legal notice for recovery and give him stipulated time to repay. However if he still fails to do then civil suit for recovery is maintainable that can be filed. For any further advice feel free to contact Thanks

You need to send him legal notice via your advocate to raise cause of action ! Thenceforth, we need to file suit for Recovery in the concerned court ! Kindly b in touch to understand the legalities! Thanks

Hello, you can file a case for recovery. Firstly the notice has to be given and then the case will be filed. We need to first see when you had given the money. Asper law, the limitation is 3 years from the date when the other person had agreed to repay you the same.

You can first send a legal notice stating that within a period of 15 days or max 30days you have to return the said amount and if even after sending the notice he doesn’t abide to the same then you can file a suit for recovery in the court of law.
