Documents required to sue debtor by guarantor

Sir,
I was an guarantor for a personal loan sanctioned. Debtor defaulted and I had paid settlement money after my salary was attached under an E.P.
Now that I had repaid the loan I understand that I can sue the debtor but finance company is not providing me original loan agreement documents without which I can't file a suit. I had received a settlement certificate for the settlement made. Please help me. How can I sue him?
