Q: Is it legal to record video in a bank, or is it considered an offense?
I have a problem with the interest on my fixed deposit with the bank. Initially, they admitted the mistake and tried to resolve it, but later they started speaking rudely, denying any error. I have video recordings of each visit to the bank regarding this issue. Can I legally use these recordings as evidence if I decide to pursue this matter in court? The recordings were made to address my issue and not to breach bank security.
Advocate Pavan Kumar Gudipati answered
as such recording ina bank considers to be offence / crime. if your intention is good and for misbehavior or corruption, then court may excuse. court may consider as evidence. if issue is on fixed deposit then get relief from court.
