Yes money can be recovered by recovery of suit under civil law as well if the date in cheque has been expired. You will have to send legal notice and claim the amount failing which a suit may be initiated.

Your cheque has been expired. You can still file for suit for recovery of money. You will have to send a legal notice failing which this case. You will have to show why was the cheque given to you meaning arising out of which agreement.

If your money is struck with the opposite party then it can be recoverable and if you have got the cheques then submit it in the bank and if it bounces then you can always approach the court to demand your money back along with interest. Time is unpredictable but problem will be solved. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

A cheque is valid till three months from date of issue.

incase your cheque is beyond three months, a civil case can be filed in court for recovering the amount due.

Don’t mis use the cheque.
If cheque has the date of last year then it is already expired as validity of cheque is three months. However it can be used for order 37 or suit for recovery! Don’t enter any amount in the cheque if it is blank until you hire any expert advocate, it needs proper n genuine calculation!

cheques become invalid after 3 months from the date written on the cheque. if there is no date on the cheque, then you can put a recent date and get it encashed. you can also file a civil suit for recovery. if not settled, it should take about 1 year for you to get your money back. you will also be awarded interest on the amount for the period it hasn't been paid.

Yes if it is recoverable. You can initiate a proceedings for recovery of your amount by issuing a legal notice through a lawyer by giving the second party 15 days time. If he does not comply and pay, you can file a case for recovery
