What is the share of married daughter in the property

An individual died intestate in 1997 leaving both movable and immovable properties. Whether married daughter claim equal share with other heirs.

After the amendment to the Hindu Succession Act in 2005, a daughter is much a legal heir as a son. However, to avail this benefit the death of the owner of property should have happened after 2005 and not prior to that. In the present case as the individual died in 1997 so the daughter can't claim share as other legal heirs.
