Want to include my name in the gift deed made to my wife by her mother

12-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
My mother in law is a farmer(via certificate) and she plans to gift a farmland to my wife. Can I be included in the gift? I want to become a farmer and having my name in the deed helps legally. We both are temporarily in Australia and will return back in a year. If cannot, what other ways I have? We are a Hindu

Hello,
Since it's a gift deed even your name can be included as it's your mither in law's absolute property its her wish to gift it anyone she wishes to. Since your mither in law s a father her daughter also falls under same family of farmer and any agricultural land can be purchased in her name.
