Succession certificate for deceased' property

29-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
My husband has expired. His family is trying to inherit all his assets. How to find if they have gone to court for succession certificate. If I could find out if the court in Delhi has put notice in newspaper for the succession certificate, I could file my objection.

You may file a succession petition, if you have the death certificate of your husband and the legal hier certificate. You need to contact a lawyer with few details to find out the case if any filed by your in laws.

on what basis are you planning to file the objections?
did your husband leave any will?
there must be something that has entitled the family to inherit all his assets.

u can file suit for suceesin for all estatez of your husband and you can claim your share ... rather than you looking for them ... let them look for you .... and you are rightfully entitled to your husband share also ... so you should proceed with the case and let them file objection

Hi
In case any member from your family had filed a case, it would have been necessary for them to name you as a party to that suit. In case they haven’t done that, we can do a legal search on the online portal to see in case any case has been filed. Please feel free to get in touch for further discussions.
