I am from Pune, Maharashtra. I had executed an agreement to sale but now both parties want to cancel this mutually. What is the stamp duty applicable to cancellation deed of agreement to sale. Is it the same 6%?
In my knowledge, there’s no stamp duty on cancellation. In fact you’ll be entitled to refund of stamp duty paid on the registered agreement for sale.
