Sale of property without registration

I am keen to buy a villa from an owner taking home loan.But the owner has only got possesion of the house from the builder but not registered the same on his name.He says it will be registered to my name directly by the builder.So can I get a loan from the bank for such purchase.
yes then u need to talk to the builder along with the owner so that you are buying it from a new flat from the builder not a resale flat from the owner and then you can apply for a loan form the bank also because of you get it the bank will issue loan
