Right of children in grandmother's property after father's death

19-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
My husband expired in 2010. I have 2 sons 15&13yrs old. I want to know if they have any right over the properties which are now under the custody of there grandmother (my mother in law). She expelled all 3 of us after my husband's death without any penny. Iam living at my maternal place and working hard for sons upbringing. Can my sons now file a case for there right in the property? We belong to Hindu family.

Your children have a right to get share from the ancestral property, but if your mother in acquired the property with her own financial sources then she can give it to any one, ancestral right arises only after the death of the owner of the property.
