Name of land owner in khata can be transferred after dc conversion

02-Aug-2024 (In Property Law)
I have purchased a plot in Bangalore in 2011, it is a DC conversion land with khata tax paid in my name. Now a third person is claiming that is the great grandson of old property owner and got court decree done by ex party. My question is can dc converted land khata name can be changed to decree person?

if you're not challenge the same it may be but if you show all your relevant documents pertaining to the land and bonafide reason than court can cancel that order and without issue notice to you which is not maintainable

You have a bigger problem than change of Khata, if that third person has got a court decree it means you have lost the ownership of the land and he can get it changed to his name whether it is converted or not coz it is not relevant. Now you have to aut fast and file a case against him. For that obtain the case papers first.
