It is very risky buy lands that were granted to SC/ ST category persons. If the person -grantee has dies some time alter his legal heirs may file a PTCL case against you and get the and resumed back to them. There is one method that is followed by some people while buying this kind of lands. I can not disclose it here.

there is no problem even though property belongs to SC category persons, But if the said land granted by the government to Sc, he should take permission to government to sell the said land to other persons.
we can come to consultation only on go through the records only.

sir, I would like to say that the land belong to sc/st category can be purchased if it not comes under ptcl act. If it is the land free grant to st/sc category under grant rules, has to obtain sale permission from the Government of karnataka. If, It is not a granted land and the such category person had purchased from any person or belong to the same group earlier to your vendor or your vendor's vendor had purchased the same from st/sc category, then itself is not wrong. If there is violation of condition,if such person is dead, such sale become null and void in law. IF you verify the preliminary register of particular sy.no, then u can learn how much legal for your purpose.
