How is the ancestral property divided if there is a registered will

04-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)

My grandfather made a registered will in 2009 and he passed away in 2013.He left the house to my father and his money to be equally divided among his children who are 6 daughters and 1 son (My father). Now his daughters are not letting us probate/execute the will by refusing to present their sign on agreeing for the same.My father has 2 sons me and my brother. What will happen if something happens to my father?? will the ancestral house be transferred to my mother's name automatically, do we brothers would have a share of property. And moreover my grandfather made the house by his own earnings.

Since as mentioned the property is self acquired of the grandfather, then it will be divided as mentioned in the Will.
If your father's sister are not willing to sign, then you can approach the High court to get concerned relief.
If your father expires during this time, then the property will be equally divided between you and your brother and mother.
