Have disowned my son in 2006 from property but have misplaced the docu

Hi,
I have disowned my son from property in 2006, however i do not remember the month.
The said documents have been misplaced and i do not possess any proof of the same, not even a photocopy.
Now i am in dire need to show the documents to an offi body. Kindly help me with the query as to what should be done in such situation.
This is my response to you:
1. You can obtain the copy from the sub-registrar office;
2. You can also approach the municipal authorities;
3. You will also have to file a police complaint stating the original documents have been lost;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
