Ex-parte judgement on agreement to sale deed in favor of buyer

01-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
Mr. X took ex-parte judgement on us and took the possession of 2 acres by saying that our deceased father had executed an unregistered agreement to sell our property of 2 acres in favor of him. We don't have parents and were studying in orphanage during the above litigation. No any notices were served to us. Now we filed suit against him challenging ex-parte decision. He is willing to get compromised and offering us 1 acre land. Is this compromise advised..?

I think | have answered a similar question earler either here or in another legal forum. . one important question is who in possession of the 2 acres land . secondly weather you are having original papers of the land property . if so I can save you the entire two acres.

Please , check that whether your father had any dues to the purchaser, if no , no need to go for compromise , because you can have good merits to win the case.
But , if your father had any dues, better to go for compromise , but make sure that compromise petition needs to be drafted very keenly, so as to , it should put an end to the litigation , everything which you both parties agree, (do's and don'ts) needs to be mentioned,in compromise petition.
