Can we sell property without share certificate

Hi,
I have misplaced share certificate but need to sell flat. If buyer is okay, can I sell my flat and do registration without society share certificate? I happen to be the 3rd buyer and purchased flat in 2007, just noticed the missing share certificate now.

dear sir, u can ask society to issue you a duplicate share certificate. you need to complete the formalities of duplicate share certificate. like giving indemnity bond and inviting objection by issuing a public notice. u can call me, i can help u with the same.
