Possession of the property before registration

I have made an agreement for selling my property with the buyer. Buyer paid 30% of the total value. Rest he agrees to pay at the time of registration. Since my property is a old construction he want to dismantle it and go for registration, can I give buyer possession to dismantle my building.
The buyer will get the rights to do anything in that property after registration only
The balance payment of 70% will be payable at the time of registration
