Can property be claimed from biological father

My biological father is a man who did not marry my mom, he took care of all my needs untill i was 19 but now he is refusing to do so. He is wealthy enough, so i wanted to know that can i claim right on his property.

As long as he is alive, he can't be compelled to part with his property and you are entitled to get his property by succession only after his death. But you can claim maintenance from him under section 125 of Cr.P.C stating that you are in a state in penury and are unable to maintain yourself and thus claim maintenance from your father.
