What to do if i am involved in a minor accident with a bus

Yesterday while coming back from office my car and a bus slightly brushed against each other. I knew instantly there is no point arguing with the driver and since it was a small dent decided to carry on without engagement . A few meters ahead the bus driver stopped his bus , got down and started abusing me hitting and forcing windows to be rolled down and threatening to hit me . It was late in the night and I was alone in my car . I did not consider it safe to move out of the car and engage with him , and I drove away while he was beating on my car to stop . I am scared and don’t know if I did anything wrong .
