Vehicle lying beside the road after accident and not allowed to tow

One of my friend was in inebriated condition when he rammed the car into another car and thankfully no one was injured but the other party has filed a case against my friend and police are saying that he cannot tow the vehicle till case is solved and the car is still lying there beside the road , I want to ask if he can tow the vehicle because the other vehicle was towed after sometime
he can tow the vehicle using garage services however if police is denying or police has seized the vehicle than vehicle can be released through court. you don't have to wait till the case is resolved that is wrong information. You can get it released with the help of advocate.

I personally recommend that you can file a complaint to SDM and if no action is taken by him then you can file a complaint to district magistrate and action will be taken by them in one week , even if no action is taken by district magistrate then you can directly move to High Court with a writ petition because if you will wait more then your car will be a tin garbage at road side and
In the case which is lodge against you for that you can find an advocate who is best suitable for motor accident cases !
