Issued summons as witness for accident is their any threat in it

I have been issued summon as witness for an accident case. since i was the first guy to reach the accident spot early morning. scared at the accident site, i dialed 100 number. i have been living in rented accommodation in delhi. and at the time of accident some 8 years back, i gave the police officer my phone number and address. the court issued a summon notice as witness, which some how i could not be present at the time of hearing as the notice was served to my old address. now they have issued a warrant. that is when i came to know about it. and some people came to the previous house, claiming to be police people and were demanding 20000 rs. I am ready to be present as witness, if there is no threat from the people involved in the accident case. what are my options here?
You no need to pay money to anu person or police person. The court issued a warranty for you do better contact s good lawyer and apply for cancellation if warrant . And tell everything yo your lawyer and he will help you.

As per SC any informer or helper has a voluntary rights that he/she want to be a party or not.
Warrant can be issued only if the Summon is received by the same person or can be ignored .
We can also go for writ in HC or for quashing the warrant.
And related to this matter there are some SC Case Law.

Dear Client, there is no need to worry about it as the court had summoned you to appear and just to record your statement regarding the accident which occurred as you were the first witness on the spot it is your duty to inform the court and there is no need to pay a single penny to anyone.
