Society rules for lift usage and charges

In Pune,Society saying lift cannot be used for shifting. All shifting to be done by stairs only. They have shifting charges also for 5k but even then saying only light boxes allowed. How do I handle such. Vague rules and how to challenge them if they block shifting.

file a complaint against the society members with the deputy registrar, harassing members for no reason only for shifting and giving them mental stress should not be tolerated, write a letter to secretary first then give a complaint to the deputy registrar's office of your region

Society bye-laws cannot arbitrarily block lift usage or charge excessive shifting fees. You can challenge this by filing a formal complaint with the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies as per the concerned provisions of law.
