Society claims more than 2 Lakhs on default in bye laws 168a to owners

We have taken flats in a society and now the society have put a claim on the owners to pay a fine of more than 2 lakhs for giving it on rent to company guest house/executive accommodation claiming penalty levied as per bye law 168 (a).
Can this be case be won.
you will have to appoint a lawyer, issue a legal notice and then you may challenge the bye laws of your society. you may also initiate a legal proceeding challenging the bye law and demand of more than 2L fine before appropriate authority as well as before civil court of your jurisdiction.
