Shop is with tenant for last 40 years can landlord ask it back

My father shop is on lease now landlord want to get the same back, case is going on it..so please suggest are there any rights for tenants if shop is since last 40 years with us
Sir as per ur quarries ur father shops is on lease and ur landlord is filled suit for eviction case is pending ,u r not clear that in in which court or state ur case is pending ,every state have there own rent act . in general tenant have their right on shop if landlord have no sufficient ground ,,and unable to prove requirements then tenants have right rest on VI's a vise
