Property in faridabad can I get rent agreement registered in gurgaon

Dear Sir/Madame: I m the owner of a house in Faridabad - which I m going to give on rent-while I reside in Gurgaon. Can I get the rent-agreement notarized in Gurgaon rather than in Faridabad? The tenant has agreed to come to GGN n sign rent-agreement before a Notary in Ggn.
There would be no issue in getting the rent agreement notarized in Gurgaon. However it would be recommended that you do it in Faridabad because you might have your tenant's police verification done as well which would have to be done by the Faridabad Police since the property is in Faridabad and in that case a agreement having been notarized in Gurgaon might become a problem. Also you must note that the rent agreement if od more than 11 months will have to be registered which will also have to be done in Faridabad.
