Owner Isn't Returning Deposit what to do

05-May-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
The owner committed to refund 30k by 1st of May'17, however she didn't and not answering my calls now. I have the rental agreement/electricity bills/payment transaction details etc. What am I supposed to do now?? What are my options?? If I go legal, how much will it cost?

You can send her a legal notice demanding the refund of the same. If the rental agreement period is expired then the tenancy stands terminated if not renewed,

Under the situation it becomes the duty of the landlord to refund the security deposit after deductions for minor repairs, painting services and balance of rental amount, if any.
If there is no response, you may issue a lawyer's notice and draw him to court for recovery.
