Not paid rent for 28 months can any legal action can be taken?

I am business man my landlord does not asked me for rent about last 28 month....now he put some condition (to give rent receipt )like he want to make katra in desired location he said to me that i am leave the place some month and when construction is complete he give me the place not the same as earlier but size is less than the original plot and he give me only groundlevel plot but nowdays we used the first flore also..........what to do ......i am want to pay earlier rent but we not know the bank a/c no. of landlord.are any legal action can be do..we have rent receipt before 28 month

Yes you can approach the Hon'ble Court for your grievance.You'll be required to submit the pending rent before the Hon'ble Court as per the jurisdiction of your location and a stay order can be obtained against eviction, based upon it.
