Terms and conditions signed. Am I legally bound to join?
13-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I had signed one terms and conditions from one company. In that terms and conditions paper, few rules regulations and contract period of 1yr these things were mentioned. No salary amount, or date of joining was mentioned over there. After signing that terms and conditions, they generated one offer letter mentioning my posting, salary, date of joining all these things. This offer letter I didn't sign. nnNow I got some better opportunities from other company. Am I legally bound to the previous company as I signed only the terms and conditions? I am again telling, I had only signed the terms and conditions, didn't sign the final offer letter. nnSo, if i don't join that company, can they create any legal problem against me?nnPlease advise me. Thanks in advance.
First bliunder u created by signing the terms and conditions as being claimed by you. it's quite obvious you were forced to signed. such terms and conditions relates to your contract service period no matter whether the other things are being mentioned are not. IYou are legally to service them till expiry of your contract. Else they may rightly pull your before the concerned forum for breach of contract and demand compensation as well . for detailed consultation u may pls feel free to call.
