Can company remove person without reason can we ask compensation

I am a senior professional in automotive sector. My performance,ethics,punctuality, integrity is perfectly fine. My employer citing reason that my culture does not match with the organization asked me to resign. I have resigned but have offered to work for 3 months in the company as per my contract terms in the appointment letter. My employer has asked me to stop coming to office and have also relieved me. I submitted my resignation ( which was asked from me citing a stupid reason as mentioned) on 9th Dec 2016 . The company has asked me to stop coming to office from 12th Dec and is now telling that I have been relieved from their services on the 31st Dec. a) As per my contract am I not supposed to be paid my full salary ( Basic+ DA+ All allowances as in the salary structure) till my notice period ends (9th Mar 17? b) Can a company remove a senior person (I was a General Manager )c) Can I take a legal action and claim compensation for mental trauma? How to recover full amount? Pl help.
