SECTION 68 IPC - Indian Penal Code - Imprisonment to terminate on payment of fine

Description of IPC Section 68
According to section 68 of Indian penal code, The imprisonment which is imposed in default of payment of a fine shall terminate whenever that fine is either paid or levied by process of law.

In simple words, if the fine is paid or collected through legal means, the imprisonment due to non-payment of the fine will end.
