Owner Is Not Refunding My Token Amount

Last month I had book 2bkh resale flat and given token amount to owner however due to some reason I had cancelled the deal now owner is not refunding my token amount. What should I do please advise me

As per law, the refund of token/earnest money depends on the terms of agreement between buyer and seller. If no written agreement was signed, the owner cannot forfeit the amount arbitrarily. You may first send a legal notice to the owner demanding refund of your token money. If not complied, you can file a complaint before Consumer Forum or Civil Court for recovery. Keep all payment receipts and communication as evidence to support your claim.

file a suit and complaint before the concerned court with respect to recovery and fraud of the amount paid by you to the flat owner for the piro ne of purchasing flat. also See the concern agreement under which you have paid token amount
