27-Jul-2023 (In Family Law)
Hello All,n Before marriage, my wife didnt tell me about the loans she took and their parents also covered it up until marriage. She earns very well Rs: 90,000 . But their family takes around 50% of that salary and other part goes to undisclosed home loans, leaving only Rs:4000 in her account. Now when I asked about these undisclosed loans, she avoids me by giving these answers1. She can contribute only Rs:1000.2. Only men should support financially.3. Money is just a piece of paper.4. She will contribute only if my bank balance is almost zero.5. She would feel my love only if I support using my money.6. You are money mindedAfter this incident spread among relatives, her family now avoiding everyone and also stopped picking phones. Now she picks up silly fights like "why so mean, you dont feel my love, etc". nnI am already contributing to household, EB, Medical bills but still she says its my duty not hers. Its not even 1 yr into marriage. How to make her realize her.

In this specific scenario the following would be appropriate. If your wife is a homemaker then the reasons put forth by her is proper. But she is working and she has not dedicated herself full-time to her matrimonial family. You can very well ask her to contribute her proportionate share in the monthly expenses of the family every month. Let her contribute and then reason.

brother hope u r gud this is just conflict in ideology if she says so that men need to take care financially then just say women only do house hold works so u dont go to job then she will realise that the society is not the same and both are equal where each needs to contribute and dont worry bro all will be gud as time passes by
