Where can my sister complain for domestic violence

My sister suffers mental torture from his husband and his family member's to take extra money from her home and doing physical harassments, Her husband got a govt Job after marriage so they wants more money and gold under dowry . From few days they both are (husband and wife ) lives seperate from his family member's, but torture was not stopped. So please suggest me how to save my sister from this type of harassments.

Your sister can file a complaint under the domestic violence Act from her residence. If she is living with you at her paternal home, she can file a complaint with the nearest police station against the people causing physical as well as mental cruelty.

Your sister can file case for domestic violence , & cruelty complain in women cell against family members as well. If you want you can bring your sister home & can file additional suit for maintenance.

Hi you can approach the woman commission in you vacinity. Thereafter before court your sister can file 498A for dowry and mental harassement in that case the inlaws her husband whosoever tourturing her would be framed and action would be taken against them

You should institute a complaint under Domestic Violence Act, besides your sister should also lodge a fir against her husband for cruelty(498a) and demand for dowry. The court can order for protection and maintenance.

She can complain in police station and ssp office .and also she can institute case of 12 domestic violence act in Chief judicial magistrate court .and also file case of 498a criminal procedure code ..
