Yes she has legal right to get maintenance from her in laws as well and she can claim right in the ancestral property as well and if she has children then she can demand maintenance for them also and their right.

Dear Concerned Individual, The lady does not have any right in the ancestral home. Of course, she can seek basic maintenance from in-laws. However, your query does not state the reasons as to why was she asked to leave the house. On another note, your query also does not specify the current relationship status with her husband - is he alive? or is she separated, or divorced? Please seek consultation. Wish you a good day!

The lady can claim for maintenance and residence under the concerned family law which is her legal right. She needs to approach the competent family court to have the relief granted. More detail could be provided only after the factual matrix of the matter is known.
