What to do if my husband misbehaves with me and beats me

We r from Chennai and my sister married a guy from Dubai (working) but his hometown also Chennai only. From the day one of marriage he is very arrogant towards her always longing for money relating her with other guys. Not being happy in sexual life also nothing because of him. But to his relatives, friends, relatives of mine he will act as very smart will cry a lot in front of everyone to blame me. But all the mistakes were on him only. He keeps on searching my relatives number in all possible ways to false complaint on me. First time when my sister to Dubai he tortured her a lot abused her and even beaten her daily and sent back to Chennai and abused all our family in front of our house, shop everwhere and as smart he first complained in local police station he raised a false complaint against my sister and mother after counselling she went to Dubai again but he continues torturing her because of his mom and sister. Beating, abusing, locking her inside the house. What to do Now??

She must have to lodge police complaint, in CAW cell. Thereafter she can file domestic violence case against him and also she can claim maintenance from him. But as you are saying she is suffering physical torture also then she should complaint to police in this regard

The law gives your sister the right to file a criminal complaint against him on the ground of cruelty. After filing a criminal complaint, she can also file a suit for divorce making her case stronger. Your sister can file a complaint in domestic violence act in India, or can file a similar complaint in dubai also as per their laws of land. Its better you file a complaint under relevant provisions of law.

If he tourture your sister then your sister have to file domestic violence complaint against her husband and in laws in which she can claim maintenance and if she want to live seperately from her husband then she can file. For divorce as well.

you could lodge a complaint under the local laws their and seek protection from the police against your brother-in law and also complain to pravasi bhartiya office as well as the indian consulate for their assistance in seeking your sisters safe passage to india.
