No you cannot marry in any manner. Being a hindu this relationship falls under prohibited degree and such marriage is null and void. It is not permissible under law. Such marriages cannot be solemnised.

You can marry but being a hindu this marriage will be treated as voidable being into sapinda relationship and there is no punishment in law for this act unless you force the girl for the marriage or do anything without her consent.

Dear Querist,
I have gone through your query and have understood the issue involved. I am of the opinion that your wed lock comes within a degree of "Prohibited Relationship" as per section 3 (f) read with 3(g) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, hence it is void. However there's a rider to this i.e. if one can prove that the families follow the custom or usage, whereby this kind of marriage is accepted then you can go ahead and get married. If you or your partner's family do not support such custom or usage then you would be in a void marriage i.e. not a valid marriage. There is no punishment in Law for such an act. If you need further clarifications then feel free to contact me for the same.

Marriage in this relationship is void. The children born out of this will be illegitimate until and unless custom and uses allows you to marry. This may bring you imprisonment for upto one month or fine of Rs. 1000/- or both under section 18(b) of hindu marriage act.
