Want to break an engagment. Don't wish to marry a girl.

I belong to the Hindu-Marathi family. I got engaged 5 months back, later I came to know girl's behavior is inappropriate and nonsacramental and hurting the prestige of mine and my family's feelings. I don't trust that she could assist me with every step of our future life. So I don't wish to marry this girl but the girl's family is not ready to break this engagment. What should be my step in this situation?
Sorry to know about your situation. If her family isn't ready then they may file a case of cheating against you and your family if you don't marry her. If you have decided not to marry then you may send a notice to her through an advocate....
