Want separation from parents as the father is mentally abusive.

I’m a 20 year old female and being mentally threatened by my father. He is over controlling and mentally abusing me. He has the courage to beat me if I take my stand. I want to get separated from me and need financial support.

A lady facing abuse from her father can move to a court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate under Section 12 of the Act. The CMM shall order the protection officer to make a domestic incident report and will summon the accused.
