Single mothers in New Delhi can get certificates (birth, school, passport) for kids without their father's name. General documents required are the mother's aadhar card, child's birth certificate and any other documents.

We can proceed filing for obtaining guardianship certificate from court without disclosing the name of the father. Hon’ble Supreme Court has protected the right of a single mother where husband/father chosen to forsake his rights and duties. Feel free to contact for any further query. Thanks

for the single mother certificate you are required to file either the divorce paper or the death certificate of the father. in case they are not available then the separation certificate should be submitted in the civil court of the district.
