Rights in parents property when parents are ignoring

09-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
Hi, there i would like to know few doubts in regard to my parental property as there is complete avoidance from my parents side they don't pick up my phone etc without any fault of mine as i m very dutiful and stood by them whenever they required me but then why this cold war as i am Hindu Brahman for which the children whether boy or girl are subjected to get half of parental property each or there is any discrimination? Recently one of my grandfathers property was disposed of by my parents without my consent nor even i was ever told! I came to know through my cousins is it ok? Being the elder sibling don't i have the right to know this, through out they keep on humiliating me in one way or the other is there any meek possibility that they would devoid me of my rightful property rights or my brother will alone claim it? Is there any right over my grandfathers property that has been sold without my notice or approval? Can i have or claim my rights now or after their demise? Help me!

Sir If you are govern by 'Dayabhaga' school of Hindu law then the property has passes from your grandfather to father. And your father is living at present , he have the absolute right as the owner to dispose the same. Yes, the son and daughter have equal share in the inherited property of the parent equally. Your approval is not all necessary. Thanks

until your parents are alive and until there is document that says that your grandfather has given some of his shares to you, you cannot harp on your share. Detailed discussion is cumpulsory to guide you better.

Dear sir, your problems are more sentimental than legal. The bare fact is that no sucssession is open before the death of an property holder. No one is legally bound to discuss to dispose of his property to other. Every individual has lawful right to enjoy and sale /transfer his property by his own choice. If, any individual died inestated then his sucssessor in interest are become eligible to get the same.
