Regarding my marriage and family dispute

07-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
I am a Hindu and I did intercaste marriage against my parents will. We married in a Arya Samaj Mandir. From there we got a certificate along with photographs. Is the certificate alone is sufficient to prove that we are legally married or we need to go court and register it also? It's been 5months and I am happily married. Is there any chance anyone can try to separate us or raise question on our marriage?

yes it's essential to get registered your marriage in court if you have doubt it can be challenged. else you have Bonafide marriage but if you get it registered it will be fully authentic. moreover in some case supreme court has emphasized on getting the marriage registered in court after getting married in Arya samaj.

Is a perfectly valid marriage, as long as the necessary and essential ceremonies, which are mandatory for validity of a Hindu marriage, were performed in your Arya Samaj Marriage. Having said that, I'll advise you to obtain a marriage certificate.
