Regarding divorce from husband

It's three years to my marriage. Inter religion. He s Hindu and I am Sikh. Though it was love cum arrange marriage but still they demanded gifts on the name of milni. My parents gave minimal gifts as jewellery to me husband and parents in law. Nothing else. But 3 months after marriage I he and in laws tried to force me to get loan for their new house construction. Also they wanted all control over my earning salary atm and my belongings which I made before marriage. I denied. I was pregnant he slapped me for atm and money issues. I still denied. Due to daily mental torture my blood pressure shooted up and I was admitted in hospital till delivery. After baby birth I tried to forget all past thinking he LL improve after child but still things were same. He again hit me. I approached local police. Things were settled with mutual consent.
