Reg : Mis-understanding of family members

14-Jul-2023 (In Family Law)
Sir / Madam, My marriage was on Nov month of 2019. We are staying separately due to my work. The basic behavior of her is to exaggerate small things & projecting as bigger thing with their family members. Now the issue is coming up with both of us since she is doing thinks on her own way as guided by their peoples / family members. Their thinking about myself was totally damaged by her. Hence they are not in a situation to listen my words. She left from house on last 2 weeks back without considering my words. Though it is not the best practices in tamilnadu, their people are supporting her. Now she is in her house & i am staying with my parents. Guide me how to move forward. Note: We don't have children. The behavior of her will not be changed as i seen in many cases.

Normally in matrimonial disputes the relationship may change after a short period of separation. In some cases, the couple after coming to the conclusion that the marriage is over the approach the court for divorce. Now you have to decide about your future with her. As you don't have children to complicate things further it right time to decide.

sir, in your case it seems that you prefer divorce from your query,
but it will be better if you wait for another year and see whether every this is fine. you can approach the court and plead the court to order you wife to come and stay with you. even if your wife's family is not willing to send her with you, court may order your wife to stay with you, if you have proper reasons and she does not have proper reasons to leave you. by this way you can try to turn things around.
or if you feel there is no way that you can be with your wife, you can get divorced by approaching the court with valid reason as per the concerned religion marriage act.
