Query about legal action against my boyfriend

Me and my boyfriend were in relationship from last 2 years, he promised to marry me and bulit physical relations with me form last one year, he gave assurance that his parents knew about our relationship but when my parents went to meet his parents to discuss our marriage his parents denied about knowing anything about us and said that I dont belong to their caste soo they will not allow this marriage and later he too denied to marry me saying his parents wont allow. Can I file legal action against him and what will be the results?
Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned about the fact that your boyfriend has made physical relationship by promising to marry you and now he is been trying escape from the same, for that you have to make complaint to the police station of cheating against your boyfriend, and can initiate legal proceedings with the same,but at the end you cannot force him to marry.
