Quashing of FIR us 498a 406 stucked at delhi high court

I have settled case mutually and at quashing stage (last step) case got stuck.. As judge wants me to give an affidavit that I have no objection in child seeking her claims qua maintenance in accordance with law. As per MOU I have done one time settlement with ex wife for herself n girl child.

Your Advocate should press on MOU only which has been made as per prevailing laws of land only however as per the future security of the girl child Judge can demand some more financial security for her education and marriage. For which you should must make out some steps to ensure financial security of the child to satisfy the court as she is minor and court can ask for her financial protection by you.

when the matter has been settled then there is no issues regarding the affidavit. the affidavit is provided to make sure that the party in future does not flip from the statement she has made. it's that once she has signed the affidavit it's a sworn she has made and she cannot go to the court and claim tomorrow that she has not approved to quash.
