Hello I gone through your mail and sufficient reason to show that unable to travel from Vizag to Hyderabad. You approach the hon'ble High court to seek the transfer your cases from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad
As per the provision of hindu marriage act ,you or wife have a chance to transfer to your convenient place from hyderabad to any other places, but you have to produce residential proof like Aadhar or ovter ID card. You have to approach Hon'ble HIGH court of A.P. to transfer your case.cont advocate.
You have to file Transfer Petition in Highcourt considering the courts have not bifurcated yet. If you wait for more time, you might have to file Transfer Petition in Supremecourt to transfer case from one state to another.
Transfer of case from one court to another within the state vests with High court. Based on grounds you stated, both the cases can be transferred from hyderabad to vizag. What is the present status of case.
please note now hyderabad and vizag are in two different states.
For transfer of a case from one state to another, you have to approach the Supreme Court by filing a transfer petition.
If you can file the transfer petition yourself, i.e., in person, without engaging a lawyer, then the expenses would be only for the court fee (which is Rs. 500 for transfer of a matrimonial matter; domestic violence case would be covered under matrimonial matter) and typing, printing, photocopying charges, etc. The total cost may be about Rs. 2000 or so, plus your own travelling expenses, etc.
But, if you engage an advocate for your case, then of course, the expenses would depend on the professional fee to be charged by the advocate, in addition to the above expenses. And, the advocate’s fee can vary drastically, from a very high to low fee. There is no standard or fixed fee here.
