Presence of person during gift deed execution

Elder sister wants to gift a property to younger sister(who is in USA) is younger sister required to be present at sub-registrar office while executing the gift deed ? or suggest a solution where gift deed can still be executed by Elder sister without younger sister traveling from USA.

Do not go for gift deed. Settlement deed is better and safer. Your sister need not be present while executing the deed. But you can include her identity proof so that there will not be any false claims in the future.
