Power of Attorney document Registration

28-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
My father (89 yrs) is a legal in my mothers property that we are planning to sell. Because of his age he cannot travel and therefore wants to give POA to me ( his daughter) which needs to be registered. But he will not be able to come down to the sub-register's office for the registration process due to medical reasons. How do we register his POA?

Yes, you can register your father's power of attorney at home. We have to file an application in the court of District Collector. Then the registrar will send an authorized person to your home who will get the power of attorney registered.

For this case we need to file an application before the office of deputy commissioner and seek instruction to the registrar to get the photograph and signature of your father at your place but I would advise you to higher a profession who will arrange the things well within the time and your father have to just go to the office of Registrar for 5 to 7 minutes and easier and less Expensive.
