Police Complaint not converting in FIR

30-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
After being physically abused by her daughter-in-law, my mother filed a written complaint against her. Yet, the police are not providing or filing a FIR based on that complaint. So, what can we do to obtain the FIR while a court action is pending under the Senior Citizen Act?

if the police is not taking any action. you can move a complaint in the court of the metropolitan magistrate stating that police is not taking any action and the case then will be handled by court. and If a court action is pending under senior citizens act then also this is the appropriate remedy ...it will work in your favour

Even after the written complaint given to the police officials the police failed to register a FIR then you have to do the same through the court after filing a petition under section 156(3). For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

you can file a petition before magistrate under sec. 156(3) r/w sec. 200 crpc for directions to be given to the police station to register your FIR. but before doing so you have to do some prerequisites otherwise your petition may not be accepted. you may contact me regarding this.

You need to hire an advocate who will officially mark the complaint to higher authorities and even if otherwise you need to file complaint case via your advocate u/s 156(3) Plz b in touch to understand the legalities!
