PF Claim (EDLI) no nominee, Mother can get PF benefits along with wife

Recently I have lost my son due to COIVD, I want to apply for PF (EDLI) claim. Daughter in law has moved out and she is not coming to apply for PF claim. When i checked with company they are mentioning, there is no nominees filled so asking both myself and Daughter in law to apply, however Daughter in law is not coming to apply

okay I undertood your issue nomini not mentioned in the pf it is difficult to take the pf but you have to take court direction to who is the benificiaey to get of his wife only take Or his parents will take court will give the direction you will take it is better for you

In the case of death of an employee before claiming the PF amount, the amount standing in the deceased employees PF account can be claimed by either the nominee or the legal heirs of the deceased person. If the son dies intestate leaving behind his mother, wife and children, all of them have an equal right on the property.
